Trivia: The first move directed by Peter Bogdanovich (credited as Derek Thomas). The movie is adapted from Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet which was in turn derived from a Russian film Planeta Blur. Mamie Van Doren (Moana) was a 1950s sex symbol discovered by Howard Hughes.
